What we collect, why, and what we do with it.
This is written so the review site has a real page rather than lorem ipsum, and so you can see the shape of it. Before anything goes public it needs checking against 3D Life’s actual data practices, its ICO registration and its insurer’s requirements. Everything marked to be confirmed is something only you can answer.
Who we are
3D Life, 3 Grenadier Close, Bearsted, ME15 8GR.
Data controller contact: to be confirmed.
ICO registration number: to be confirmed.
What we collect, and why
- When you enquire
- Your name, email, phone number if you give it, and whatever you tell us about what’s going on. We use it to reply to you and to have the first conversation.Lawful basis: Your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
- If you become a client
- Brief notes from each session, and any health information you choose to tell us that’s relevant to the work.Lawful basis: Your explicit consent, and — because this is health information — the special category condition covering health and social care.
- When you use the site
- This review site is password-protected and not public. If the live site uses analytics, this section must say which, what it stores, and how to refuse it, before it launches.Lawful basis: To be confirmed.
What we don’t do
- We don’t sell your information. Not to anyone, ever.
- We don’t share it with advertisers.
- We don’t add you to a mailing list because you enquired.
- We don’t tell an employer paying for sessions anything beyond whether you attended.
Who else sees it
Only the therapist you work with, unless you ask otherwise.
Two narrow exceptions, both standard: if we believe there’s a serious risk to your life or someone else’s, or if a court orders disclosure. If either ever happened we would tell you, unless telling you would itself create the risk.
Our suppliers — email, video calling, file storage, the booking system when it exists — hold data on our behalf under contract. The list is to be confirmed once your tools are chosen.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that don’t become sessions: to be confirmed — we suggest 12 months, then deleted.
Client notes: to be confirmed. Insurers for this kind of work typically require notes to be held for seven years after the last session, and longer for anyone seen under 18. Your actual insurance policy sets this number, not us.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to us holding it. Ask by email and we’ll respond within one month.
If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk, or call them on 0303 123 1113.
Cookies
This review site uses one cookie, to remember that you’ve entered the site password. Nothing else. The public site’s cookie position depends on what it ends up using and must be written honestly at that point — including a real refusal option if anything non-essential is added.
